Mergers and Acquisitions are a large part of the corporate finance world. Practically every day, Wall Street investment bankers arrange merger and acquisition transactions, bringing independent companies together to form larger ones. 

How to Register a Merger/Acquisition

 Step 1: Navigate to the Audit / Corporate Actions page.

Step 2: Select action: Merger/Acquisition.

Step 3: Enter in the Old Symbol, New Symbol, Factor and the Action Date of the last date the old symbol traded. 

 Note: the Factor is the number of the new symbol's shares/contracts for each one share/contract of the old symbol.

Click the Preview button to review and confirm changes.
